QR Office Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and BUGBITTLE (PRIVATE) LIMITED ("BugBittle", "we", "us"), Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan, for the QR Office app and the website https://qroffice.bugbittle.com (together, "QR Office"). By downloading or using QR Office, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use QR Office.

1. Who can use QR Office

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to agree to these terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use QR Office on devices you own or control, for personal or business use, in line with these terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play.

You may not copy, sell or redistribute the app, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, remove notices, or use QR Office to build a competing product.

3. Free use and ads

You can create, scan and keep codes in QR Office for free. The free version is supported by ads from Google AdMob, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. QR Office Premium

Premium is an optional purchase. While it is active, the app shows no ads and you can use these extra features: your logo on codes, dot and corner styles, all design presets, high-resolution export, folders and batch scan. The app describes what Premium includes before you buy. We may add Premium features over time; if we remove one, we will tell you in the app first.

• Local prices. Prices may differ by country and include or exclude taxes as set by Apple or Google. The price shown in the store before you confirm is the price you pay.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm. We never receive your payment details.
• Auto-renewal. Monthly and Yearly renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within the 24 hours before renewal.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or from Settings > Premium > Manage subscription in the app. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. After that, ads return and Premium features are locked again. Codes you already exported keep working.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We can't issue refunds directly for store purchases.
• Restore. Use Restore purchases in the app to get Premium back on a new or reset phone signed in to the same store account.
• Price changes. We may change prices. For active subscriptions, Apple or Google will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your agreement.
• Lifetime means for as long as we offer QR Office on your platform.

5. Your codes and content

• You own the content you put into QR Office and the codes you create.
• Your codes and History stay on your phone. You are responsible for keeping your own copies; if you lose your phone or uninstall the app, they may be lost.
• You are responsible for the content of the codes you create and share, and for having the right to use any information and logos you put in them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use QR Office to:

• create or share codes that lead to phishing, malware, scams or other harmful content;
• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
• harass, deceive or harm others;
• interfere with the app, its ads or its services, or try to get Premium features without paying;
• send spam or abusive messages through the support or feedback forms.

7. Link safety

QR Office never opens a link without your confirmation and warns you about some risky links, for example look-alike addresses, shortened links, raw IP addresses, unencrypted links and blocked link types. These warnings help, but they can't detect every dangerous link. You decide whether to open a link, and you use the content behind any code at your own risk. Codes made by others and the websites, apps and services they lead to are not controlled by us.

8. Third-party services

QR Office works with services from others, including Apple, Google (Firebase and AdMob) and RevenueCat. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to how they provide those services. Ads in the app come from advertisers, not from us, and we are not responsible for their products or claims.

9. Our intellectual property

QR Office, its design, code, name and logo belong to BugBittle and are protected by law. These terms don't give you any rights to them other than the licence in section 2.

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve QR Office without owing you anything. We won't publish your name or email without your permission.

11. Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering QR Office. We will try to give notice of important changes. If we stop offering QR Office while you have an active subscription, the store's refund rules apply.

12. Disclaimer

QR Office is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we don't promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every code will scan on every device or printer. Always test a code before you print or publish it.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BugBittle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of QR Office. Our total liability for any claim relating to QR Office is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.

14. Indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to cover BugBittle's reasonable costs from claims caused by your misuse of QR Office or your breach of these terms.

15. Ending these terms

You can stop using QR Office at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 5, 7 and 9 to 17 continue after these terms end.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts in Lahore, Pakistan have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the issue.

17. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded QR Office from the Apple App Store:

• These terms are between you and BugBittle only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for QR Office or its content.
• Your licence is limited to using QR Office on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store usage rules.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for QR Office.
• If QR Office fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for QR Office.
• BugBittle, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims about QR Office, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
• BugBittle, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and handling any claim that QR Office infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for important changes, tell you in the app or on the website before they apply. If you keep using QR Office after changes apply, you accept the updated terms.
